The Full Maintenance Group (FMG) was established to fulfil a need in the market for quality and cost-effective maintenance of townhouses complexes, office blocks, corporate and industrial buildings, shopping centres and private homes. The company was recently established by Mr Wim Booysen and Mr Paul Maré. Both of them have been in the construction and maintenance industry for more than two decades. Mr Booysen, through his company Pink Potato, brings more than 20 years of experience as a paint and construction contractor, together with relevant project management experience. In addition, Mr Maré brings 25 years of specialised paint knowledge and experience. Furthermore, his business, The Colour Shop, can also provide backup service and colour advice to a wide variety of clients. FMG envisages providing the complete spectrum of maintenance services by including pre-approved companies which cater for all the maintenance needs of any site. This will include painting, waterproofing, electrical, plumbing and structural maintenance. We are endorsed applicators of Plascon, Dulux, Universal paints, Woodoc and Coprox. Our workmanship is generally guaranteed for 5 years and products are generally guaranteed from 5 up to 10 years by the manufacturers, depending on the product. Our staff are well trained and have the necessary skills to meet application requirements for a manufacturers guarantee. We invest in the continuous development of our staff and the majority of our employees have been with us for over 8 years.

We furthermore incorporate Covid-19 health and safety requirements into all site plans to ensure Covid-safe environments. To this end, as part of our site risk assessment, all work processes are planned before commencing with any work by setting out what will be done and how. We also ensure that all employees are provided with masks and hand sanitisers, and are screened daily before the commencement of the workday. In addition, any employee showing any symptom will be required not to come to the site and to comply with self-quarantine requirements.

As a standard,

• no paint job will start unless a thorough inspection of the preparations prior to painting was performed;
• no Polyfilla is used on outside walls;
• walls are fixed with a mixture of cement, sand and a bonding liquid that contributes to the guarantee specifications of the suppliers.

We prefer to do the project in stages to minimize the risk to clients, which could include body corporates and owners alike.
